6th Grade & Under

The Northside Church of Christ has a passion for young families.  The 6^th Grade and Under group is made up of Christian Mothers and Fathers who care about both the spirituality of their individual family members as well as the hearts and lives of others in the group.  Our focus is on following Christ and raising our children to do the same.  This group makes up about one third of the congregation at Northside and is continually growing! 

We realize that life lived separately is not nearly as sweet as life together, so we make opportunities to fellowship regularly. In addition to sharing time together in Sunday morning bible class we plan monthly events that are fun for the whole family: playing at the Youth Center, hiking and picnicking at Lost Valley, enjoying a hayride and roasting hotdogs and s’mores around a campfire; these are just a few of the well-attended activities we enjoy! We also have service projects to help our children learn the joy of working and giving back to others. In addition, once a month we have Center Stage where the all the 6^th Grade and Under kids come to the front of the auditorium for an object lesson. 

We do all of these things to grow loving bonds of friendship that will help us walk with one another, be more like Jesus, and rally others to join us on the journey.
